Christopher Lockwood is Head of English, Bilingual and International Education. He read English and American Literatures at universities in the U.K. and the U.S.A., before studying a research master’s degree in American Literature at the University of Cambridge where he specialized in 18th and 19th century frontier literature, and literature and terrorism. He graduated from the TESOL programme at Arizona State University in the U.S.A.
Christopher teaches Shakespeare, Media Studies, Modern World History and Political Science in English to juniors and seniors, and offers an optional course in History of Art. Christopher also runs the BEAM programme in Mexico, and is an Adobe Youth Voices Lead Educator for Mexico. Christopher is also responsible for the school’s international travel programme, agreements with international universities and a range of other events within the school. Christopher is currently researching country house literature.
